Meet the Principal
Robb Robison
I’m honored and excited to step into the role of principal at Northrop High School. I’ve proudly served Fort Wayne Community Schools for 19 years and my journey began right here at Northrop in 2006 as a social studies teacher. In 2013, I transitioned into school leadership as an assistant principal at Wayne High School. In 2020, I was fortunate to return to Northrop, where I've served as a year-round assistant principal.
Our mission is to establish Northrop as the premier high school in our region. I'm thrilled to lead the implementation of the Ford NGL model, powered by 3DE, which will provide students with real-world skills and meaningful opportunities that align with the demands of today’s colleges and employers. Our goal is to give students a true head start after graduation—by helping them not only earn their diplomas, but also complete state-recognized CTE certifications, college coursework through Purdue University and gain invaluable internship experiences.
This fall marks my 20th year in education. I’ve been happily married for 14 years to Melissa Robison, a dedicated middle school counselor. We have two energetic boys—Rafe, 6, and Ramsay, 3—who keep us on our toes. In the summer, you’ll find us at the lake, wakeboarding and surfing; in the winter, we head up north for some family snowboarding adventures.
I’m truly looking forward to a fantastic school year ahead!
